The pug inspired Heinrich Heine, Wilhelm Busch, Christian Morgenstern, Andy Warhol and Loriot. As Agent Frank, the pug was a Hollywood star. In the movie "Men in Black II" it entered into battle against extraterrestrials, singing – wholly in the spirit of this book – Gloria Gaynor’s "I Will Survive" …
